Erin Huygens

Erin is an accomplished dancer, teacher and choreographer. She has been dancing and performing since age 4 and has over 12 years’ experience of teaching experience ranging from young children to adults. Erin is technically trained in Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, HipHop and Lyrical/Contemporary. She holds her Teacher’s Jazz Associate through Canadian Dance Teachers Association, along with Advanced 1 Modern Theatre and Intermediate Tap Syllabus through Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Erin has also trained in a wide variety of styles including Jazz Funk, Krump, Commercial Jazz, Break Dancing and Irish Step dancing. She continues to educate herself with new dance styles and theories to enhance her training and teaching methods. Erin regularly continues to take numerous workshops and classes in Toronto and area as well as New York City. Erin’s real passion is choreography and training her students to become well rounded and inspired dancers. Her choreography for soloists and group dances has won several overalls and special awards at numerous competitions over the years. Erin is grateful for what dance has brought to her life and she is honored to be a part of the IN.MOTION teaching staff!
