Jordan Baker

Since beginning her dance journey at age two, Jordan has always known that she was born to dance. She trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip hop, competing all over Canada and the United States. Over her 10 years competing, Jordan won many scholarships and titles including Miss Starpower, Overall Junior Soloist, Top Soloist at Showstoppers Nationals, and DMA scholarships in tap, jazz, and ballet to name a few. More of Jordan’s dance accomplishments include dancing annually in the televised Miss Oktoberfest Pageants and performing in Sears Fashion Shows in Toronto. Jordan went on to dance on the Raptors Junior Dance Pak for 2 years, perform in Drayton Entertainment’s High School Musical Production, and she continues to take professional classes to continue growing as a dancer. Jordan attended the University of Waterloo where she was an active member and choreographer for the University of Waterloo Competitive Dance Team, winning various awards for both her performances and creative choreography. Aside from dance, Jordan also has a deep passion for teaching. She went on to pursue her passion of teaching at Wilfrid Laurier University where she attained her Bachelor of Education, and she currently works as a supply teacher in local school boards. Jordan is excited to be back in the studio environment, join the IN.MOTION family, and share with fellow dancers all that she has learned, in hopes of making a difference in the lives of those who share her greatest passion.
